Definition of PageRank/PRPageRank is also referred to as PR and page rank. Since Google trademarks it, this term is properly written as PageRank but more commonly used as page rank. PageRank is a form of software that ranks webpages in their relevance to specific keywords that web users enter into their browsers for the purpose of conducting an online search. Additionally, this ranking tool analyzes each webpage for the quality of the page content as well as the number of incoming links to the page. Each webpage receives a ranking based on the above analyses that falls somewhere between 0 and 10. A ranking between 7 and 10 is high and it will lead to a higher placement in the search engine results page. The lower the ranking is, the lower the placement it receives in the search engine results page will be.
