Banner Advertising is used to promote a product or service on a webpage. Banner advertising uses a graphical Web image to portray a message or logo. This type of advertising is very similar to traditional advertising methods since it typically utilizes creative methods to reach the largest audience possible. The format for banner advertising ranges from static images to interactive images. The more creative banners typically include some type of video or flash animation.
